Can Social Media Really Help My Business?
In today’s world, social media is a staple for both the young and the old. A phone book is no longer the first place people think of when they are looking for a service. In order to compete with technology, businesses of all sizes are expanding to the online market. Through social media and website creation, it’s much easier to reach a niche of customers who share similar interests. Many restaurants in my area have taken advantage of this cultural shift, such as Little Ceasars. Little Ceasars is very popular among the youth at local colleges due to their marketing towards the crowd, but a business doesn’t have to be brick and mortar to make use of social marketing. Online merchandisers and service providers can actually gain the most out of marketing through social media, due to the increasing popularity of the internet. As I’ve said earlier, most people discover new things through the internet. To not progress with time would mean losing an opportunity to gain a large customer base. Change is a core principle in marketing; you cannot stay competitive with the same old methods. It’s very clear that social media can help any business, small or large.
